Alma Latina Dance Company was founded in Tijuana in 2005 by Gabriela Equiz and Sergio Jasso and quickly received awards and recognition for it's unique style and the quick and significant improvement that all it's students showed.

The Dance Company has been expanding consistently over the years as students from all over Southern California and Northern Baja have contacted Alma Latina to request more training opportunities.

Alma Latina is now here at The Bea Hive. Starting in July 2010 we will be training our current team dancers for performance and competition.

The first World Salsa competition for kids will be in December 2010 in San Diego. Alma Latina will be training our dancers to be a significant part of this.
