Salsa The Bea Hive has some of the best salsa instructors in Orange County. This is by far our most popular dance class. It's a partner dance but you DON'T need to bring one. A partner will be provided and if you DO have one, you will have to share. Salsa class times are

Social dancing till 1030pm on Friday evenings and 4-8pm on Sunday afternoon.
Ballroom: Our ballroom classes are Wednesday at 6pm. We offer all styles of ballroom dance such as Tango, Foxtrot, Waltz, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Quickstep, 2 Step and International styles of Ballroom dance. All dances are at 6 wk intervals. Then we move on to the next style. So you can get a well rounded variety of social ballroom dances. Private lessons are available. To register for our Wed class CLICK HERE.
Foxtrot- Foxtrot dancers travel around the perimeter of the room in a counterclockwise direction in a basic rhythm of slow-slow-quick-quick. Still a classic dance for wedding receptions, the Foxtrot is a true American favorite.
Waltz- Waltz is a smooth progressive dance characterized by long, flowing movements, continuous turn, and rise & fall. Graceful and elegant, Waltz dancers glide around the floor almost effortlessly.
Tango- Tango is a sensual, dramatic dance known for flexing steps and posed pauses. Widely considered the “dancer’s dance,” it has become even more popular due to its presence in films like “The Scent of a Woman” and “Evita.”
Cha-Cha –Cha-Cha is a rhythmical Latin dance, which originated in the 1940s as a modified form of Mambo. It’s fun, energetic, sexy and flirtatious, easily distinguished form other dances by its addictive “step, step, Cha Cha Cha” rhythm.
Rumba-Steamy! Slow and romantic, the Rumba is the most sensual of the Latin dances. Couples dance very closely together, using their body language to express emotion between them. The Rumba is sometimes referred to as the “Dance of Love” because couples stare deeply into each other’s eyes while they dance.
Samba- The spirited Samba always gets feet tapping! The Samba is characterized by a steady bounce in 2/4 meter achieved by flexing and straightening the knees. This happy and bouncy dance is always fun!
West Coast Swing- Swing is getting more and more popular. Our swing classes are taught by US Open Champions that have been teaching in OC for many many years.

Social dances for swing and country are the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. Classes taught at 6pm. Dancing til 1030pm.
Nightclub Two Step- Nightclub Two Step (not to be confused with Country-Western Two-Step), is one of the most practical and versatile social dances ever conceived. It is designed to be used with contemporary soft rock. This type of music is common just about everywhere: nightclubs, radio, etc.
